    CHARACTER DECIDES EVERYTHING. Character is who you really are. GOOD CHARACTER IS GRACEFUL; bad character is disgraceful. Talent opens doors; INTEGRITY KEEPS DOORS OPEN. Mediocrity seeks titles; GREATNESS INVESTS IN A GOOD NAME. Fame is a vapor; character is a rock. Money flies; Charisma fades; A GOOD NAME ENDURES. True success is built on wisdom and righteousness. Even though your life here on earth was short, yet you lived one worthy of emulation and full of the above character traits. Rest well my brother 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭DEMIRIFA DUE TONG! ISAIAH 57:1-2
    The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil.

    Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.
    MHB 978
    1 When our heads are bowed with woe,
    When our bitter tears o’erflow,
    When we mourn the lost, the dear,
    Jesu, Son of Mary, hear.
    2 Thou our throbbing flesh hast worn,
    Thou our mortal griefs hast borne,
    Thou hast shed the human tear;
    Jesu, Son of Mary, hear.
    3 When the solemn death-bell tolls
    For our own departing souls,
    When our final doom is near,
    Jesu, Son of Mary, hear.
    4 Thou hast bowed the dying head,
    Thou the blood of life hast shed,
    Thou hast filled a mortal bier;
    Jesu, Son of Mary, hear.
    5 When the heart is sad within
    With the thought of all its sin,
    When the spirit shrinks with fear,
    Jesu, Son of Mary, hear.
    6 Thou the shame, the grief, hast known,
    Though the sins were not Thine own;
    Thou hast deigned their load to bear;
    Jesu, Son of Mary, hear.
    Tong!!! May Your Innocent Soul Rest In Perfect Peace

    The best brother I could have ever hoped or asked for…and I never had to ask. I went to him for everything. From the day I met you as a brother, until the day he died, I always tell him what happening in my life and seek his advice. I met Nana during music camp @ UEW and ever since he has been a brother and adviser. He was soo happy when he saw mi going the military all because his effort of teaching mi during school days never go wasted. On dat faithful day when I heard your sad news I was totally down. Because we have lost a great talent and a truly a close brother… But God knows best and he called You. We wish to say May Good Lord Put You beside him and play him hymns till we All meet Again. It is very painful to pay tribute to a dear one. To me, it is like a dream that Emmanuel Nana Kweku Acquah whom we affectedly called TONG is no longer with us. You were a loving and caring brother to me. Kweku, you opened your arms for me since the first day we met. I cherish every bit of love, passion, and affection you had for me. The painful reality is that you will no longer call on the phone and say β€œabaa bedzi nam”, and ask me if I have eaten, and if not, I should come home and cook something for myself. Truly, there is a time to be born and a time to die.

    Indeed, if tears can wake a dead person up, you might have been alive, because my heart, soul, and eyes are filled with tears. Kweku the virtues (the act of giving) you taught me with your life will forever remain in me.
    TONG, I say I love you and I will never forget you.
    May the Almighty father lead your soul to rest in perfect peace.

    Kweku da yie
    Amen!

    I saw always in the dark with no one to listen to the sound of my strings. My class band members were not ready to entertain any unprofessional Violinist. I remember one fateful day during lunch time concert, the band left without playing my song and u were really hurt by thier actions. That was when u told me to relay on you for any piano accompaniment assistance I may need at any performance. And I remember, you and your team made my first dance band performance on the violin very unique and amazing with EL’s song ‘Watin no be koko for my God'(2017/2018 freshers night). U brought me into the light, on the big stage of performance and with this menua, I will always cherish your kindness , selflessness and big heart in helping all who comes to you for advice,support and knowledge. To me, you are one of the beacon’s of the music department (UEW) and I will forever tell this our success story wherever I find my self. I know u are gone menua Tong but, your legacy will forever stay with us in soul, body and spirit until we meet again on the Shores of Zion. Rest well in Jah’s Bosom Brother.

    Edward Quansah (Piitoa) created the platform for me to meet you, Nana Kweku Acquah (aka Tong) in a rehearsal. You were there to demonstrate your selflessness in support of a brother. I saw what you can do with 4keyboards at a time and you equally saw my ability in singing, hence, you named me “MP5”. The last time I chanced on you was at my weeding, where you lastly performed on this earth without charging a pessewa. I vowed in my heart to equally emulate your selflessness to assist you whenever the need be. In fact, I wanted to sing for you on the day of your wedding. If there’s any place I would wish to sing for you, it will definitely not be at your funeral because I wanted you to witness how grateful I’m to you. Demirifa due Nana, Due ne amanehunu. We, the members of Giant Aux Band, especially, Piitoa will greatly miss you. Rest in Perfect Peace till we meet again.

I’m really saddened by your demise and I can’t believe you are no more. However, I know that God knows best and you are doing very well in heaven. Rest in peace, Tong. Fare thee wellπŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’”We will miss you πŸ’”πŸ’”

    We made noise with the Fante dialect on campus for people to appreciate the language. Chanting “Fante confederation” anytime we met became a norm. You were just an affable personality the whole of central campus can testify of. You did your best and paid your dues. It’s time to sleep and we wish you a sound sleep bro. Till we meet again, “Fante confederation” says rest on and rest easy.😒😒😭😭

    Tong you were a very good brother and a friend to me. All my life you’ve shown me a particular kind of love none has ever shown me. You stood with me when I lost my father. Those times we were both not well but you were always by myself. Your love was exceptional. I was shocked when the news of your death was unfold. I can’t say much. I pray for your family especially your mother and your sisters. You have lived a life of a true leader and I will never forget the way you’d always call and advice me on how I should be learning and not sleeping. You lived a life that is worth celebrating. On this day I celebrate you because I know where you are. I love you and I pray you rest well in the Bosom of the father till we meet again.

    Obrempong Nana Tong, as I boldly and affectionately called him, was a very affable and wonderful person I met whiles pursuing my undergraduate studies at UEW central campus. Tong, as most friends from the music department called him was a very brilliant pianist which everyone wished to see him perform on the keys. He personally taught me a little bit of contemporary piano chords whiles I also helped him with choral chords, based on our areas of speciality, and mostly shared ideas as piano major students when Mr. Annan gives us our pieces. I thank God for having met someone like you and I pray the almighty grants you eternal rest.
    Da yie, Nana! Good night.

    I met you through my brother Sina Boakye Prince. You have and will always be the kind of person who always love to do things outside the box. Your jovial nature alone is a plus. Tong as I affectionately call him is a mate in school and a dedicated one for that matter. I remember when we were doing our off campus teaching practice and I met you at Winnesec. He was like; MD I heard you are doing your internship at Swedru and you always go and come back to Winneba, well I am doing mine here too because I want to be close to campus in order to use the gift God has given me to help mass Choir. Not forgetting the group you added me when you told me we had a program this Easter at Cape Coast. Tong, infact you have given me the bitter pill to chew. How on earth did you leave without a notice. You shall forever be in our hearts. May God grant unto you eternal rest until we meet again. Dayie dofo fonafo. Woedwuma abo adze. Adzekyee Paa siar mbordor. Ma d3w mapa nny3 medze

    In my heart you’ll always be;
    You’ll be my guide and help me see.
    I’ll never forget your soothing voice.
    I would take your place if I had a choice.
    But now I have to let you rest,
    Although I will miss your feel on the keyboard.
    I miss you with all of my heart.
    I wish we never had to part.
    I know you’re always by my side,
    So now I guess this is my goodbye…
    Rest in Peace my beloved Brother

    Kweku Acquah as I called him than his usually ‘Tong’, was a very simple person by nature and a selfless being. The happiness of his friends and of course people around him as a matter of fact was his priority. You have lived your cause and I know that the Lord that gave you life has kept your soul safe in the bosom of father Abraham. Rest well, Kweku Acquah.
